Learning management systems (LMS)

What is LMS? The Learning Management System (LMS) is effectively the web-based host for the training package. It is a software application that administers, tracks, and produces reports of training programs, online (and classroom) events, e-learning programs and training content. There are a number of LMS systems available, each with their own specific strengths, but in order to ensure compatibility of the materials with different systems, all our programmes conform to the SCORM standards (see below).

All our learning modules are SCORM compliant and can be integrated into most learning management systems.  SCORM Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) is a collection of standards and specifications for web-based e-learning. It defines communications between client side content and a host system called the run-time environment, which is usually supported by a learning management system. SCORM also defines how content may be packaged into a transferable file.

learnfusion is a blended learning system focused on supporting face-to-face training.
